Oppo Find X8 Series to Feature Exclusive Camera and Gaming Button, Leak Suggests

The Oppo Find X8 series is set to introduce an additional button on the right side of its frame that will function as both a camera shutter and a useful feature during shooter games. Unlike the physical shutter button seen in devices like the Sony Xperia 1 VI, the button on the Find X8 series will be capacitive.

Details about the Find X8 series have been emerging, with the latest update from a leaked slide. This slide reveals that the extra button on the Find X8 series is located towards the bottom of the right side of the phone, adjacent to the power button. The button, referred to as the Quick Button, will support various functionalities. In camera mode, users can tap it to capture a photo, long-press to initiate continuous shooting, and slide a finger over it to zoom in and out.

Beyond its use in the camera, the Quick Button will also offer functionality within the gallery app, allowing users to scroll through images or zoom in and out of photos. In addition, during gameplay, users can tap or long-press the button to shoot, adding to its versatility.

The inclusion of this multi-functional button aligns well with the Find X series’ reputation for strong camera performance. While a physical button might have been preferable by some, a capacitive button is a practical choice, especially since the Find X8 series will be transitioning from the curved frame of the Find X7 to a flat one.

This innovative addition is gaining attention for its potential to enhance user experience in photography and gaming on the upcoming Oppo Find X8 series.
