Oppo Find X7 Ultra Achieves Top Spot in DxOMark Camera Rankings

Oppo’s latest camera powerhouse, the Find X7 Ultra, has clinched the highest score in DxOMark’s global smartphone camera rankings, tied with the Huawei Mate 60 Pro+. Garnering an outstanding 157 points, the Find X7 Ultra has set a new record in the Bokeh category, showcasing its strength in portrait photography.

Launched as the first smartphone in the world equipped with dual-periscope camera technology, the Find X7 Ultra boasts groundbreaking camera features. At its core, the device uses a 50 MP Sony LYT-900 sensor — a 1-inch sensor that serves as the primary shooter, accompanied by a Sony LYT-600 50 MP sensor for ultra-wide-angle shots. The Find X7 Ultra further enhances its optical capabilities with a periscope setup consisting of a 50 MP Sony IMX890 sensor for 3x optical zoom and a Sony IMX858 sensor for 6x optical zoom.

This premium camera array benefits from Hasselblad’s tuning combined with Oppo’s HyperTone engine, a collaboration that has resulted in the device’s stellar performance in professional camera assessments.

DxOMark praised the Find X7 Ultra for its exceptional performance across all testing categories, particularly highlighting its portrait capturing capabilities. The device produces images with accurate colors and high detail, thanks to its balanced exposure and wide dynamic range that holds up even in challenging low-light conditions.

Leading the pack in the Bokeh category, the Find X7 Ultra impressed DxOMark with its depth estimation and the ability to create accurate blur gradients, resulting in a remarkable category score of 85.

The Find X7 Ultra’s impressive DxOMark score affirms its position at the forefront of smartphone camera technology, setting a benchmark for future devices to aspire to.
