Oppo’s foldable phone lineup has been unusually hard to buy in many parts of the world. The company never officially launched the Find N5 in North America or Europe, leaving shoppers in those regions with fewer fresh options. That’s also why the OnePlus Open is still the most recent foldable sold across many markets—even though it’s built on the older Find N3 platform.
Now, new chatter suggests Oppo is preparing a very different global rollout for its next-generation foldable, expected to be called the Oppo Find N6. Instead of keeping availability limited, the plan appears to bring the Find N6 to more regions at launch, with a focus on Europe and parts of South Asia.
According to a recent claim from industry tipster Yogesh Brar, Oppo intends to release the Find N6 in Europe and South Asia at the same time it arrives in China. The proposed date mentioned is March 17, pointing to a synchronized launch window rather than the staggered, region-by-region strategy that has frustrated potential buyers in the past.
Interestingly, the same report suggests India may be left out of this particular release plan, even as other nearby South Asian markets could be included. If accurate, that would mark a notable shift in how Oppo approaches foldable availability—especially given how important India has become for smartphone brands in general.
For foldable fans who have been waiting for a newer Oppo-style foldable in Europe, this rumored March 17 launch timing will be the key detail to watch. If Oppo follows through, the Find N6 could finally offer a more straightforward path to buying the company’s latest foldable without relying on limited releases or older rebranded alternatives.
