OnePlus 15 Unleashes 165fps Mobile Gaming in Call of Duty: Mobile, Delta Force, and More

OnePlus 15 is shaping up to be a serious gaming powerhouse. Expected to debut in China in mid-October, the flagship succeeds the OnePlus 13 with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a faster 165Hz display, and official support for native 165 fps gameplay in select titles.

The company has confirmed multiple upgrades that target both speed and smoothness. This will be the first OnePlus phone with a 165Hz screen, up from 120Hz on the previous generation, and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is set to deliver a major performance leap. Early benchmarks point to roughly a 25% uplift in both single-core and multi-core performance versus the OnePlus 13.

Gaming is the headline act. OnePlus says the OnePlus 15 will run at up to 165 frames per second in several popular mobile games, including:
– Delta Force
– Call of Duty Mobile
– Arena Breakout
– League of Legends: Wild Rift
– Naruto Mobile

Third-party testing has already hinted at what that looks like in practice. In a 30-minute Delta Force session, the phone reportedly averaged 164.9 fps with 1% lows of 148.4 fps, while drawing about 4.70 W. That suggests the new chipset and display can sustain high frame rates with notable power efficiency. As always, support will vary by title; many games may remain capped at 60 fps or 120 fps until developers optimize for higher refresh rates.

Beyond gaming, expectations are high for overall responsiveness, thanks to the higher refresh panel paired with the next-gen Snapdragon platform. A separate leak also claims the OnePlus 15 could launch at a lower price than the OnePlus 13 in China, which would make its performance gains even more compelling.

With a striking Sand Dune colorway teased and performance-focused features front and center, the OnePlus 15 looks poised to raise the bar for Android flagships. More details, including full specifications, pricing, and availability, are expected at the launch event in October.
