Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra gets major One UI 9 beta upgrade with Fold-style AI features
Samsung is rolling out a fresh One UI 9 beta update for the Galaxy S26 series, and it brings several notable upgrades inspired by the company’s latest foldable phones. For Galaxy S26 Ultra users and other beta testers in the S26 lineup, this update adds smarter AI tools, improved daily recommendations, and a more helpful security-focused experience.
One of the biggest new additions is My FanCam, an AI-powered video feature designed to make capturing and sharing key moments easier. Previously introduced on Samsung’s newer foldable devices, My FanCam can keep a selected person in focus while automatically adjusting the frame. It can also reformat footage into different aspect ratios, making videos easier to post on platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and other social media apps.

The update also improves Now Brief, one of Samsung’s more proactive software features. With the latest One UI 9 beta, Now Brief can surface privacy and security-related information more clearly, helping users stay aware of important device protections without needing to search through settings. This makes it easier to monitor phone security and keep up with features that protect personal data.
Samsung is also expanding Now Nudge, a feature built to offer smarter contextual suggestions throughout the day. With the new beta update, Now Nudge is expected to provide more useful prompts based on user activity, helping Galaxy S26 users move through common tasks more efficiently.
