October Debut Confirmed for 16-Inch Powerhouse With 128GB RAM and 20-Core Nvidia RTX Spark

MSI Prestige N16 Flip AI+ Launch Set for October With RTX Spark, 128GB RAM, and OLED Display

MSI is preparing to launch one of its most ambitious convertible laptops yet. The Prestige N16 Flip AI+, first shown earlier in 2026, is now confirmed to begin pre-sales on October 8, at least in China. The laptop stands out as MSI’s first model built around Nvidia’s RTX Spark platform, positioning it as a powerful 16-inch 2-in-1 designed for AI workloads, creative tasks, and premium productivity.

The Prestige N16 Flip AI+ was originally unveiled in May at Computex 2026, where MSI showcased it as part of its next-generation laptop lineup. More recently, the device appeared again during IFA 2026 in Berlin, giving a clearer look at its design and feature set. With October approaching, MSI has now shared additional launch details, confirming that the machine is nearly ready for release.

At the center of the Prestige N16 Flip AI+ is Nvidia’s RTX Spark chipset, which features a 20-core processor. MSI will pair this platform with up to 128GB of RAM, making the laptop a serious option for demanding users who need high memory capacity for multitasking, AI applications, content creation, and professional software.

The display is another major highlight. MSI plans to equip the Prestige N16 Flip AI+ with a 16-inch OLED panel offering a 120Hz refresh rate and variable refresh rate support. The screen is also expected to deliver more than 1,000 nits of peak brightness, which should make it suitable for HDR content, outdoor use, and color-sensitive creative work.

As a convertible laptop, the Prestige N16 Flip AI+ is designed to switch between traditional laptop use and tablet-style interaction. That makes it appealing for users who want flexibility for note-taking, sketching, presentations, media viewing, or working on the go. MSI is also including a haptic trackpad, adding a more modern and refined control experience.

Battery life should benefit from a large 99Wh battery, which is close to the maximum size typically allowed in laptops for air travel. This suggests MSI is aiming to balance high-end performance with all-day portability, an important factor for professionals and creators who need a powerful machine away from a desk.

The overall design is said to be shared with the Intel Panther Lake-based Prestige 16 Flip, which MSI introduced earlier in the year. That means buyers can expect a sleek premium chassis, a large 16-inch display area, and a flexible hinge system built for 2-in-1 use.

For now, MSI has only confirmed the October 8 pre-sale date through its China-focused channels. A wider global release is expected, but official international availability and pricing have not yet been announced. If MSI follows with a broader rollout, the Prestige N16 Flip AI+ could become one of the most interesting premium AI laptops of late 2026.

With its RTX Spark platform, massive memory option, bright OLED display, large battery, and convertible design, the MSI Prestige N16 Flip AI+ is shaping up to be a standout choice for users looking for a future-ready 16-inch laptop built around AI performance and creative flexibility.
