NVIDIA DGX Spark AIB models are set to arrive as soon as October, riding a wave of demand sparked by the Founders Edition. This compact “mini-supercomputer” aims squarely at professionals who need serious AI horsepower in a small footprint, delivering up to 1,000 TOPS of AI compute for around $4,000.
Positioned as a powerful bridge between AI PCs and full-fledged data center rigs, the DGX Spark is built around the GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip. At its heart is the latest Blackwell GPU with fifth‑generation Tensor Cores and FP4 support, enabling exceptional throughput for inference and accelerated AI workflows. That combination is designed to slash latency and boost efficiency in tasks like generative AI, model tuning, and high-speed inferencing.
Add-in board partner models from Acer, ASUS, Gigabyte, and MSI are expected to hit retail next month, with Taiwanese manufacturers projected to account for roughly 70% of total production. That strong partner presence should translate into wider retail availability and more configuration choices for buyers. Several of these designs were shown publicly at Computex 2025, highlighting diverse cooling solutions and form factors aimed at creators, researchers, and small enterprises.
The DGX Spark may also foreshadow what next-generation AI PC chips could look like. Industry chatter points to future client platforms that blend x86 processors with NVIDIA RTX GPU chiplets, aligning with the broader strategy stemming from NVIDIA’s partnership with Intel. If that vision materializes, the GB10 architecture could be an early preview of how AI acceleration will be deployed across more mainstream computing devices.
While initial AIB units are slated for October, broader, steady availability is expected in either Q4 or early 2026, when both AIB and Founders Edition models should be in stock across common retail channels. For professionals seeking dense AI performance without moving to a server rack, the DGX Spark’s mix of 1,000 TOPS performance, compact design, and a relatively accessible price point positions it as one of the most compelling small-form AI systems arriving this year.
