The latest update to the Nvidia GeForce Game Ready Driver, version 551.52, has been released, primarily to introduce DLSS support for selected game titles. Nvidia has indicated that they will be extending DLSS and RTX enhancements to an expansive portfolio of games, with over 500 currently slated for these features.
In this latest driver update, Nvidia aims to allocate DLSS support to bolster gaming experiences, specifically targeting the GeForce 40 series graphics cards. Although there are no significant upgrades regarding GeForce Experience optimizations or new G-Sync display support, the 551.52 driver is set to amplify three new game releases with DLSS capabilities.
One of the highlighted titles with this enhancement is Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. The game, which also released on Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 5, and Windows, benefits from both DLSS 2 and DLSS 3 support. This translates to the ability to run the game at over 100 fps with all settings maximized in 4K resolution, given the power of a GeForce RTX 4070 Super graphics card.
Smalland: Survive the Wilds, another game to be graced with DLSS 2 support, exits early access to make its full debut. The survival and building game takes players on an adventure within a miniature world. Furthermore, the open-world pirate action RPG, Skull and Bones, is expected to launch with optimized DLSS 2 automation.
The delivery of such stable and consistent driver updates not only ensures that gamers get the most out of their graphical hardware but also underpins Nvidia’s continuous rise in market value. The tech giant has recently outpaced Alphabet in market capitalization, reaching an estimated value of nearly $1.825 trillion, and also surpassing Amazon.
These driver upgrades are part of Nvidia’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the gaming experience, pushing the boundaries for performance and visual fidelity across a broad spectrum of gaming titles. The company’s dedication to software support extends across both their latest offerings and older models, illustrating their commitment to gamers and their hardware investments.
As these enhancements become available, gamers using Nvidia’s GPUs can look forward to an even more immersive gaming experience with the aid of these updates, while the company itself fortifies its position in the competitive landscape of graphics processing technology.
