The much-anticipated Nubia Z70 Ultra is gearing up to launch in China on November 21. This cutting-edge device has already made waves in the tech community after appearing on Geekbench, showcasing impressive performance scores that overshadowed those of an early benchmark test for the so-called standard Galaxy S25.
With the model number “NX736J,” the Nubia Z70 Ultra secured outstanding scores in both single-core and multi-core performance, surpassing the results achieved by the alleged Korean variant of the Samsung Galaxy S25. While the Samsung device, reportedly equipped with an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip, delivered scores of 2,481 in single-core and 8,658 in multi-core tests, the Nubia Z70 Ultra impressed with scores of 3,203 and 10,260, respectively. These results put it on par with other leading Snapdragon 8 Elite flagship phones.
While details about its cooling system remain scarce, Nubia has claimed that the Snapdragon 8 Elite housed within the Z70 Ultra has been optimized for “supreme performance.” The device is also confirmed to feature next-generation LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
Furthermore, leaks suggest that the Nubia Z70 Ultra will sport a full-screen display reminiscent of the RedMagic 10 Pro, coupled with an enhanced rear camera setup and a futuristic under-display camera. Details regarding its pricing and international release are still tightly held, but with the Chinese launch imminent, more information is expected to surface soon.
