Nubia has officially launched its latest additions to the global smartphone market, the Focus and Focus Pro 5G. These new devices are set to bring the advanced NEOVISION photography capabilities that users enjoyed with the Z60 Ultra flagship to a wider audience, featuring powerful 108MP main rear cameras for superior photo quality.
The Focus series is aimed at providing an expansive range of users the chance to explore Nubia’s edge in mobile photography technology. The new Focus and Focus Pro are introduced as mid-range alternatives to the high-end Z60 Ultra, equipped with dual rear cameras to deliver what the brand refers to as “professional” photography features. These include 4K recording, RAW HDR, and a “RAW super night mode,” showcasing the capabilities of their impressive 108MP NEOVISION-branded main sensors.
In addition to their photography prowess, the Focus 5G series promises to bring an immersive display experience with innovations inspired by Apple’s Dynamic Island. The Focus model boasts a 6.6-inch “Live Island” display, while the Focus Pro model offers a slightly larger 6.72-inch screen, both featuring a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The series is also built to last with substantial 5,000mAh batteries supported by AI power-saving technology for extended usage.
The technical specifications of the devices hint at efficient performance, with the standard Focus model powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core 6nm chipset. Details on the particular SoCs are not yet fully disclosed, but expectations are high for speed and reliability.
The Nubia Focus 5G smartphones will not only excel in visual performance but also in audio and storage. Both devices will integrate DTS audio technology for an enhanced sound experience and utilize UFS 3.1 storage for fast data transfer and file access. As for affordability, the series is reported to start with a price tag of $199, positioning them as competitive options in the mid-range market.
These latest offerings from Nubia are part of the brand’s strategic move for global expansion, targeting various customer niches with a commitment to innovative technology and feature-rich smartphones. With a balance of performance, innovation, and cost-efficiency, the Focus 5G series could very well pave the way for a new era of mobile photography.
