Mechrevo Unbounded 15X Blizzard Gaming Edition launches with Ryzen AI 9 365, 240Hz display, and 80Wh battery
Mechrevo has introduced a new configuration of its Unbounded 15X Blizzard Gaming Edition in China, giving gamers and power users another option in the growing market for slim performance laptops. The latest model combines AMD’s Ryzen AI 9 365 processor with a high-refresh 2.5K display, expandable storage and memory, and a large battery packed into a full-metal chassis.
One of the biggest highlights is the 15.3-inch IPS display. It offers a sharp 2,560 x 1,600 resolution, giving users more screen space and better clarity than a standard Full HD panel. The 240Hz refresh rate makes the laptop especially appealing for fast-paced gaming, smoother scrolling, and responsive everyday use. Mechrevo also claims the screen covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut, making it suitable for gaming, streaming, content creation, and general productivity.
The display is rated at 500 nits of brightness and features a matte anti-glare coating, which should help reduce reflections in bright rooms or office environments. DC dimming support is also included, which may make the screen more comfortable for users who are sensitive to flicker. Another practical touch is the 180-degree hinge, allowing the laptop to lay flat when needed.
Inside, the Mechrevo Unbounded 15X Blizzard Gaming Edition is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 processor. This chip features 10 cores and 20 threads, with boost speeds reaching up to 5GHz. It also includes integrated Radeon 880M graphics, giving the laptop enough graphics capability for lighter gaming, esports titles, media work, and GPU-accelerated tasks without relying on a dedicated graphics card.
Mechrevo gives users three performance modes to choose from: 25W, 45W, and 65W. This allows the laptop to shift between quieter efficiency and higher sustained performance depending on the workload. Cooling is handled by a dual parallel heat pipe system, which is designed to keep temperatures under control during demanding sessions.
The laptop comes with 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD as standard. Unlike some thin-and-light laptops that limit upgrades, this model includes expansion slots for both memory and storage. That makes it more flexible for users who may want to increase RAM capacity or add more storage later.
Battery life is supported by an 80Wh battery, a generous size for a 15-inch performance laptop. Mechrevo also includes a 100W GaN charger with support for its fast-charging technology. The use of a compact GaN adapter should make the system easier to carry compared to traditional bulky laptop chargers.
Despite the large battery and metal construction, the laptop weighs around 1.68 kg, or 3.70 lb. That makes it relatively portable for a gaming-focused machine with a 15.3-inch screen.
The keyboard is designed with both gaming and productivity in mind. It includes a numeric keypad, full-height arrow keys, single-zone RGB backlighting, and 1.4mm key travel. These details should make it more comfortable for users who spend long hours typing, gaming, or working with spreadsheets and shortcuts.
Other features include an IR webcam with a physical privacy feature, giving users an extra layer of security when the camera is not in use. The laptop also comes with Nahimic-certified audio, which may improve sound positioning and clarity for games, movies, and voice calls.
Port selection is another strong point. The Mechrevo Unbounded 15X Blizzard Gaming Edition includes USB4, a USB Type-C port with 100W PD 3.0 support, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one USB 2.0 port, HDMI 2.1, Gigabit Ethernet, and a 3.5mm audio combo jack. A security lock slot is also included.
This combination of modern ports makes the laptop suitable for external displays, wired networking, gaming accessories, storage drives, and docking setups. HDMI 2.1 is especially useful for users who want to connect the laptop to a high-resolution monitor or TV.
The Ryzen AI 9 365 and Radeon 880M combination has already appeared in other premium laptops, but Mechrevo’s model stands out by offering a faster 240Hz IPS display and upgradeable memory. Some competing laptops may offer more RAM out of the box or OLED screens, but the Unbounded 15X Blizzard Gaming Edition focuses on refresh rate, expandability, and value.
In China, the Mechrevo Unbounded 15X Blizzard Gaming Edition is listed at 6,999 yuan, which is approximately $1,048. A 500-yuan coupon brings the promotional price down to 6,499 yuan, or around $973.
For now, Mechrevo has not confirmed international pricing or global availability. However, for buyers in China, this new configuration could be an attractive option for those looking for a 15-inch gaming laptop with a sharp 240Hz display, AMD Ryzen AI performance, expandable hardware, and a large battery at a competitive price.
