MSI has introduced its first NVIDIA RTX Spark-powered laptop, the Prestige N16 Flip AI+, a premium convertible PC built for demanding AI, creative, professional, and gaming workloads. Designed as a high-performance 2-in-1 machine, the new laptop combines NVIDIA’s latest AI-focused hardware with a sharp OLED touchscreen, large unified memory options, and a lightweight chassis.
The MSI Prestige N16 Flip AI+ is aimed at users who want to run advanced AI models locally rather than relying heavily on cloud-based processing. With RTX Spark hardware inside, the laptop is designed to handle large language models, AI content creation, video editing, 3D rendering, and graphics-heavy tasks with impressive speed.
MSI will offer the Prestige N16 Flip AI+ in two main chip configurations. The higher-end version features the full N1X processor with 20 Arm cores and a Blackwell-based GPU with 6,144 CUDA cores. A second model comes with an 18-core SoC and a 5,120-core GPU. Both versions are built to deliver serious computing power for users who need performance beyond a typical productivity laptop.
One of the standout features is support for up to 128 GB of LPDDR5X unified memory. This is especially important for AI workloads, where larger models and faster memory access can make a major difference. The laptop can deliver up to 1 PetaFLOP of FP4 AI performance, positioning it as a strong option for developers, creators, and professionals working with local AI tools.
The Prestige N16 Flip AI+ is not only focused on AI. MSI is also targeting gamers and visual creators by including support for modern NVIDIA technologies such as ray tracing, DLSS, and NVIDIA Reflex. These features can improve gaming visuals, boost frame rates, and reduce system latency in supported titles.
The display options also place the laptop in the premium category. Buyers can choose a UHD+ Tandem OLED touchscreen with a 3840 x 2400 resolution and up to a 120 Hz refresh rate. MSI will also offer a 2.8K OLED touchscreen with a 2880 x 1800 resolution. Both display choices are designed to provide rich colors, deep contrast, smooth visuals, and strong HDR performance, making the laptop attractive for creators who work with video, photography, design, or animation.
As a convertible laptop, the Prestige N16 Flip AI+ can be used in multiple modes, including laptop and tablet-style setups. That flexibility makes it useful for presentations, sketching, media viewing, and on-the-go productivity.
Connectivity is also comprehensive. The laptop includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, two USB4 Type-C ports with DisplayPort Alt Mode and power delivery, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1, an SD card reader, and an audio jack. This makes it well-suited for users who connect external displays, fast storage, cameras, accessories, and creative equipment.
Despite its powerful specifications, MSI has kept the device relatively portable. The chassis weighs around 1.9 kg and includes a large 99.9 Wh battery, giving users a balance of performance and mobility.
Pre-orders for the MSI Prestige N16 Flip AI+ have started. Pricing begins at $3,299 for the model with 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. The top configuration, equipped with 128 GB of memory and 2 TB of storage, is priced at $6,799.
With its RTX Spark platform, high-end OLED display options, large memory capacity, and convertible design, the MSI Prestige N16 Flip AI+ enters the market as a powerful AI laptop for users who need local performance for next-generation workloads. It is clearly built for creators, developers, professionals, and enthusiasts who want a portable system capable of handling AI, gaming, and productivity in one premium package.
