Motorola has introduced its latest premium wireless earbuds, the Moto Buds 2 Ultra, bringing a mix of high-end audio features, long battery life, and global availability plans. Designed for users who want immersive sound in a compact pair of earbuds, the new model arrives with Dolby Atmos 3D audio support and Bose-tuned noise control features.
One of the biggest highlights of the Moto Buds 2 Ultra is battery life. Motorola says the earbuds can deliver up to 8 hours of listening time on a single charge. When used with the charging case, total playback time increases to as much as 37 hours, making them a strong option for travel, commuting, work, and everyday entertainment. However, Motorola has not clarified whether the 8-hour estimate applies with active noise cancellation or Transparency mode turned on.
The earbuds also include Bose QuietControl active noise cancellation, which is aimed at reducing background noise for a more focused listening experience. For moments when users need to stay aware of their surroundings, Transparency mode lets outside sound pass through without removing the earbuds.
For audio performance, the Moto Buds 2 Ultra feature 11 mm dynamic drivers. Combined with Dolby Atmos 3D support, the earbuds are designed to create a more spacious and immersive soundstage, especially when watching movies, streaming music, or playing games on compatible devices.
Wireless charging is another convenience Motorola has added to the new earbuds. Instead of relying only on a cable, users can place the charging case on a compatible wireless charger when needed.
Motorola plans to launch the Moto Buds 2 Ultra in the coming weeks, with pricing in the Eurozone set at €199, which is approximately $225. The company has confirmed that the earbuds are planned for Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, North America, and the Asia-Pacific region. Exact launch dates and regional prices have not yet been announced.
With premium audio features, long battery life, active noise cancellation, Dolby Atmos 3D sound, and wireless charging, the Moto Buds 2 Ultra appear positioned as a strong competitor in the growing market for high-end true wireless earbuds.
