Moore Threads Unveils Powerful MTT X300 GPU Featuring 16GB GDDR6 Memory

Moore Threads, a noteworthy player in the Chinese GPU industry, has just launched the MTT X300, a powerhouse in professional graphics technology. This advanced piece of tech is built on the innovative second-generation MUSA “Chunxiao” architecture, boasting 4,096 MUSA stream processing units that deliver a remarkable 14.4 TFLOPS of single-precision floating-point performance.

At its core, the MTT X300 is equipped with a generous 16GB of GDDR6 memory on a 256-bit interface, offering an impressive bandwidth of 448 GB/s. It connects through a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, providing three DisplayPort 1.4a outputs and an HDMI 2.1 port, supporting up to four displays with resolutions reaching up to 8K.

When it comes to video performance, this graphics card shines with support for a diverse range of codecs, including AV1, H.265, H.264, VP8, VP9, AVS, AVS2, MPEG4, and MPEG2. This versatility allows it to efficiently manage up to 36 channels of 1080p video at 30 FPS, for both encoding and decoding processes.

Moore Threads ensures compatibility across a wide spectrum of drivers, accommodating x86, Arm, and LoongArch CPU architectures. Additionally, the MTT X300 works seamlessly with operating systems like Tongxin, Kylin, Fangde, Ubuntu, and Windows and integrates with major rendering engines such as Unreal Engine, Unity, Cesium, ORGE, and osgEarth.

This GPU is tailor-made for professional visualization tasks commonly found in CAD, BIM, and GIS applications, as well as in non-linear video editing. While it shares its core specifications with the S80 gaming card from the same lineup, the X300 stands out with its specialized firmware and drivers, specifically optimized for professional needs. All this performance runs at a Total Graphics Power (TGP) of 255W, making it a robust choice for demanding tasks.
