Monster Hunter Outlanders Update Adds Radiant Great Girros Changes, Bug Fixes, and Apex Challenge Improvements
Monster Hunter Outlanders has received a fresh maintenance update for iOS and Android, bringing several important gameplay fixes and quality-of-life improvements shortly after its global launch. The update went live on November 6, 2026, and applies across all servers without requiring downtime, meaning players can continue exploring, hunting, and progressing while the patch is applied.
If the latest changes do not appear immediately in-game, players may need to restart the client to fully activate the update.
One of the biggest adjustments in this Monster Hunter Outlanders update focuses on Radiant Great Girros. The monster now enters its Fever state as soon as Radiant Rage is triggered, and it will immediately summon Radiant Girros. This should make encounters feel more consistent and intense, especially for hunters learning the monster’s updated combat rhythm.
The patch also resolves an issue in Free Hunt mode involving Paolumu. Previously, Paolumu could remain grounded for unusually long periods, preventing players from completing certain research objectives tied to its airborne behavior. With this fix, players should have a smoother time progressing through related tasks.
Endgame players also get a useful improvement in Apex Challenge mode. The storage limit for Apex Challenge Orders has been increased, giving hunters more room to manage their challenge attempts. Apex Challenge mode opened on November 7, and this adjustment should make it easier for active players to prepare for tougher hunts.
For players who purchased orders from the Season Shop and exceeded the newly adjusted limit before the patch, the development team has confirmed that compensation for lost orders will arrive in a future update.
Research-related quests have also been improved, while Guild Recruitment messages have been adjusted to appear less frequently in the World Channel. This should help reduce chat clutter and make the shared channel easier to read during busy play sessions.
Weapon fixes are another key part of the update. The Fated Adventurer’s Hammer Insight, Strike Frenzy, can now properly follow up into Big Bang Finisher in Adventure Mode. Heavy Bowgun users also benefit from a fix to the Veteran Gunner Insight, which now activates correctly in situations where it previously failed.
These improvements follow an earlier November 2 update that fixed an issue where evading with a sheathed Hammer did not properly remove Fireblight.
Several visual and performance-related bugs have also been addressed. The update fixes a problem that prevented graphics quality settings from being changed on certain devices. It also corrects abnormal character shaking when High Frame Rate Mode is enabled, which should make gameplay look and feel more stable on supported phones and tablets.
The update also corrects Ruger Aidal’s size in the Investigation Notes, repairs model asset issues in the Grand Archipelago field, and removes incorrect “Part attack ineffective” messages during Apex Challenges.
Additional fixes include restoring the Milestone Bargains event so players can claim rewards, repairing scrolling problems in the Guild Clash Leaderboard and chat history, fixing missing shop prices, and resolving login failures that occurred in certain scenes.
Monster Hunter Outlanders is available as a free-to-play mobile game on iOS and Android. The game supports controllers, and a mainland China release is planned for 2027.
For the best experience, the official system requirements recommend iOS 17 or later, Android 12 or later, and a smartphone or tablet with at least 6 GB of RAM.
With combat refinements, Apex Challenge improvements, weapon fixes, event repairs, and better overall stability, this update should make Monster Hunter Outlanders smoother and more enjoyable for both new players and dedicated hunters pushing into higher-level content.
