Micron Technology has officially completed its acquisition of Powerchip Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation’s P5 fabrication site in Tongluo, located in Miaoli County, Taiwan. With the deal now finalized, Micron says it has assumed full ownership of the facility, moving ahead with plans first revealed on January 17, 2026.
The newly acquired Tongluo P5 site strengthens Micron’s manufacturing footprint in Taiwan, a region that plays a central role in the global semiconductor supply chain.
