Meizu Pandaer PTC16 80W GaN Charger Launches With Three USB-C Ports and a Slim Design
Meizu’s Pandaer brand has introduced a new compact charging accessory, the Pandaer PTC16 80W GaN charger. Designed for users who need to power multiple devices at once, the new charger combines a slim body, three USB-C ports, and support for several fast-charging standards.
The Pandaer PTC16 is priced at 229 yuan, which is roughly $32. However, launch-period platform discounts can bring the price down to 149 yuan, or about $21, making it a competitive option for buyers looking for a multi-port GaN charger.
One of the biggest highlights of the Pandaer PTC16 is its thin and lightweight build. The charger measures 85.5 x 50 x 13.9 mm and weighs just 99 grams. Pandaer says the device uses a smartphone-style three-layer internal layout, along with what it calls an “Air” stacking design. This structure is intended to keep the charger slim while still delivering high power output.
The charger includes three USB-C ports, giving users the flexibility to charge a phone, tablet, wireless earbuds, handheld console, or laptop accessories at the same time. When only one port is used, the main USB-C port can deliver up to 80W through Meizu’s mCharge protocol. For other compatible devices, it can provide up to 65W through PD3.0 and PPS. The other two USB-C ports can also deliver up to 65W individually when used alone.
When two devices are connected, the Pandaer PTC16 automatically divides power depending on the port combination. It can provide 45W and 20W, or 45W and 15W. When all three USB-C ports are in use, the primary port delivers up to 45W, while the two secondary ports provide up to 15W each.
This makes the charger especially useful for everyday carry, office desks, travel bags, and minimalist setups where one compact charger can replace multiple power adapters.
The Pandaer PTC16 supports a wide range of charging protocols, including mCharge, PD3.0, PPS, AVS, FCP, SCP, and QC4+. This broad compatibility means it can work with many smartphones, tablets, accessories, and other USB-C devices.
For input, the charger is rated at 200V to 240V, 50/60Hz, with up to 1.8A. Buyers should note that this input range may be more suitable for regions that use 200V to 240V power systems.
With its three-port USB-C layout, 80W maximum output, GaN technology, and ultra-slim 99 g design, the Meizu Pandaer PTC16 stands out as an attractive compact charger for users who want fast charging without carrying a bulky adapter.
