Meizu 21 Pro Unveiled: A Powerhouse with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 2K+ Display and Up to 1TB Storage

The smartphone market sees another high-end entry with the launch of the Meizu 21 Pro. Recognizing the potential for a stylish yet powerful device, Meizu has crafted a remarkable Android handset that is rumored to be among the last of its flagship series.

With a sleek design featuring flat edges and a slender depth of just 7.9mm, the Meizu 21 Pro caters to users preferring one-handed operation due to its 74mm width. Despite its slim profile, the device houses a substantial 5,050mAh battery compatible with 80W wired USB-C charging and 50W wireless charging, an upgrade not found in its standard version.

The Meizu 21 Pro’s visual experience is elevated by a 6.79-inch, 21:9 aspect ratio display that provides expansive viewing with a crisp 2K+ resolution of 1368 x 3192 pixels. Its semblance to the minimalist design seen in devices like the RedMagic 9 Pro is overshadowed by its pronounced quad rear camera setup, which includes an attention-grabbing circular RGB flash and three powerful lenses: a 10MP 3x telephoto, a 13MP ultrawide-angle, and a main sensor furnished by OmniVision OV50H.

Operating on Flyme OS, the Meizu 21 Pro distinguishes itself as the first “All in AI” device from the brand, offering innovative features like Circle to Search and Live Translate. Integrations with MYVU glasses and Geely automobiles hint at Meizu’s advances towards a connected ecosystem.

Available to its consumers in China, the Meizu 21 Pro can be purchased in a selection of finishes, including graphite glass and green vegan leather. The smartphone’s price begins at approximately 4,999 yuan (~$695) for the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage variant, and it scales up to a 16GB RAM with 1TB storage model priced around 5,899 yuan (~$820).

Enthusiasts of the Meizu brand, or those interested in a high-caliber Android smartphone, may find the Meizu 21 Pro a compelling option, especially considering the phone’s advanced features and premium design elements.
