Meet JVC Kenwood’s Wood Master: Self-Healing Earphones with African Rosewood Drivers and Spiral Dot Pro SF Tips

JVC Kenwood has unveiled the Wood Master, a premium pair of in-ear wireless earbuds that blend distinctive materials with modern audio tech. Launching in Japan on November 20, 2025, these true wireless earphones stand out with African rosewood integrated into their hybrid diaphragms, AI-powered noise cancellation, and a self-healing finish that helps keep them looking new.

Designed for audiophiles on the go, the Wood Master uses 10 mm drivers and supports Hi-Res Audio via the LDAC codec, alongside SBC and AAC. Sound can be tailored in the companion app, which offers acoustic optimization based on the unique shape of your ears and an optional spatial audio mode. JVC’s Spiral Dot Pro SF ear tips feature an oval profile with tiny sound openings along the inner wall to enhance high-frequency detail and clarity without muddiness.

Durability and everyday practicality are central to the design. The earbud housing is coated with a self-healing paint that gradually fills in minor scratches, and the entire unit carries an IP55 rating for resistance to dust and water. Connectivity is handled by Bluetooth 6.0 with multipoint support for up to two devices simultaneously, plus a low-latency mode that reduces lag during gaming and video.

Battery life is rated at up to 7 hours of listening with ANC enabled, with the charging case providing an additional 14 hours for a total of up to 21 hours. A full recharge takes about two hours. The earbuds come in two finishes—sunburst brown and piano black—complementing the wood-accented design.
