Mechrevo 14 Ultra debuts as a lightweight Panther Lake laptop with powerful Intel Arc graphics
Mechrevo has introduced a new slim and lightweight laptop in China called the 14 Ultra, and it looks like an interesting option for users who want portability without giving up too much performance. The laptop is powered by Intel’s Core Ultra X7 358H, a performance-oriented processor from the Panther Lake generation.
One of the biggest highlights of the Mechrevo 14 Ultra is its integrated Intel Arc B390 graphics. This new iGPU is expected to deliver a noticeable performance jump over the Arc 140T found in previous Arrow Lake-based systems. Early performance comparisons suggest that the Arc B390 can get close to the level of an RTX 2060 Laptop GPU, which means it should be capable of handling many modern games at reduced graphics settings.
Mechrevo has also suggested that the laptop can deliver up to 40W of performance, which is promising for a compact 14-inch machine. The Core Ultra X7 358H is paired with 32GB of DDR5 memory, although the company has not yet confirmed whether higher memory configurations will be available. Storage appears to include a 1TB SSD as the standard configuration, with no additional variants announced so far.
The design is another major selling point. According to Mechrevo, the 14 Ultra weighs only 1.1 kg, or around 2.42 lbs, making it highly portable for students, professionals, and frequent travelers. Official images also suggest a thin chassis, giving the device a premium ultrabook-style appearance while still offering stronger graphics performance than many traditional lightweight laptops.
Despite its thin and light build, the Mechrevo 14 Ultra includes a 70Wh battery. Combined with the expected efficiency improvements of Intel’s Panther Lake platform, the laptop could offer solid battery life for everyday tasks such as web browsing, document editing, streaming, and light creative workloads. It also supports 100W USB-C Power Delivery charging, which should make it easier to charge with compatible compact adapters.
Port selection appears practical for a slim 14-inch laptop. Based on the initial images, the device includes at least one USB-C port and two USB-A ports, giving users flexibility for both newer and older accessories. More connectivity details are expected when Mechrevo shares the full specifications.
The display is a 14-inch QHD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. This combination should provide sharp visuals and smoother motion, making the laptop suitable for productivity, entertainment, and casual gaming. Since Mechrevo has not mentioned OLED, the screen is likely an IPS panel.
For now, Mechrevo has not confirmed the official launch date or pricing for the 14 Ultra. The laptop is expected to arrive first in China, with a possible wider release in other regions later. If priced competitively, the Mechrevo 14 Ultra could become an appealing choice for buyers looking for a lightweight laptop with strong integrated graphics, a high-refresh QHD display, and a capable Intel Panther Lake processor.
