Maxsun, a Chinese PC hardware maker, is gearing up to launch its GeForce RTX 50 series, including several versions of the RTX 5050 GPU. This upcoming release also features other models like RTX 5060, RTX 5070, and RTX 5080. Maxsun has officially registered these new GPUs with the European Economic Commission (EEC), confirming the existence of the RTX 5050, which had only been rumored until now.
The RTX 5050 is set to debut in various families such as iCraft, Transformer, and Terminator series, along with possibly new series like OTES. Each variant boasts 8 GB of VRAM, though the type—GDDR6 or the newer GDDR7—remains a mystery. Despite these uncertainties, the GPU is expected to come with a 128-bit memory bus.
Alongside these exciting revelations, Maxsun is also debuting other RTX 50 series models, such as the RTX 5080, 5070 Ti, 5070, and 5060 Ti. The upcoming RTX 5060, anticipated to be showcased by NVIDIA at Computex, will feature 8 GB of GDDR7 VRAM and match the 128-bit bus of the RTX 5050.
Spec-wise, there will be notable differences between these models in terms of CUDA Cores, Tensor Cores, RT Core, and TDP. The RTX 5050 is rumored to sport a GB207 GPU, 2560 Cores, and a TDP of 130W, although pricing and release timelines remain unclear, with no expectations of an announcement at Computex.
Interestingly, the Arc B580 with 24 GB of VRAM, once dismissed by some as a rumor, has been confirmed by Maxsun’s registration. This new iCraft 24G OC model further expands Maxsun’s ambitious lineup.
