OpenAI is expanding what ChatGPT can do with built-in app integrations, letting you connect your favorite services directly to the assistant so it can take action for you. Instead of switching between tabs and apps, you can ask ChatGPT to handle practical tasks like building a Spotify playlist, finding hotels for a trip, or helping you put together a shopping cart for a last-minute gift run.
How ChatGPT app integrations work
Getting started is simple as long as you’re logged into ChatGPT. One option is to type the name of the app at the beginning of your prompt. ChatGPT will then walk you through signing in and connecting your account.
If you prefer to set things up in one go, you can manage everything from the Settings area. Go to Settings, then look for Apps and Connectors to browse available integrations, choose what you want, and sign in to each service.
Before you connect anything, it’s worth paying attention to privacy and permissions. Linking an account means you’re allowing ChatGPT to access certain data from that app to personalize results and complete requests. For example, connecting Spotify can give ChatGPT access to details like playlists and listening history, which helps it make better recommendations—but it’s still personal data. The good news is you can disconnect any integration anytime from Settings.
Available ChatGPT app integrations you can use right now
Booking.com
If you’re planning a trip and want help choosing where to stay, the Booking.com integration is geared toward finding hotels with more natural, conversational filters. After connecting your account, you can ask ChatGPT to find places to stay in a specific city with your travel dates and budget, then narrow it down by details such as how many people are traveling, whether you want to be near public transportation, or whether breakfast is included. When you find a good option, you’ll open the listing to complete the reservation.
Canva
Canva’s integration is designed for fast design help—especially useful when you need visuals quickly for work, school, or social media. Once connected, you can ask ChatGPT to create something like a 16:9 slide deck for a quarterly roadmap or a poster for a local business. You can add constraints such as preferred fonts, color palettes, formats, and exact dimensions (for example, Instagram posts vs. stories). Since AI-generated designs can still include issues like odd visuals or typos, it works best as a strong starting point that you can refine inside Canva.
Coursera
With Coursera connected, ChatGPT can help you discover online courses that match your goals and experience level. You can ask for something like an intermediate Python course and then have ChatGPT compare options by rating, duration, and cost. It can also summarize what each course covers so you spend less time clicking through listings and more time choosing the right path.
DoorDash
DoorDash’s integration focuses on saving time for meal planning and grocery shopping. You can ask ChatGPT for a meal plan, then add the needed ingredients directly to your DoorDash cart, review, and check out. This feature is currently available in the U.S., and it works with participating grocery retailers, including Kroger, Safeway, Fairway Markets, Wegmans, and others.
Expedia
For travelers who want options fast, the Expedia integration can surface flights and hotels directly within ChatGPT. You can specify dates, budget, number of travelers, and preferences like “only show 4-star hotels.” Once you spot the right itinerary or stay, you’ll head to Expedia to finalize the booking.
Figma
Figma in ChatGPT is geared toward turning ideas into visuals. You can ask for diagrams, flowcharts, and other structured outputs that make it easier to plan products, map workflows, or explain complex concepts. It also supports uploading files and asking ChatGPT to generate a product roadmap with milestones, deliverables, and deadlines to keep teams aligned.
Spotify
Spotify is one of the most practical integrations for everyday use. After connecting, you can ask ChatGPT to create playlists based on your mood, a specific genre, or even a playlist that only contains songs by your favorite artist. It can also recommend new artists, audiobooks, podcasts, and curated playlists tuned to your taste. Beyond recommendations, ChatGPT can perform actions like adding or removing items from your Spotify library.
Target
Target’s integration (currently in beta) is built for smoother shopping, especially around peak seasons. Inside ChatGPT, you can ask for gift ideas or themed shopping suggestions—like putting together a “movie night” bundle—and quickly build a basket of Target items without leaving the conversation. After that, you can purchase using your Target account and choose delivery options such as same-day Drive Up, in-store pickup, or standard shipping.
Uber and Uber Eats
If you need transportation while traveling or navigating a new city, the Uber integration lets you set up ride details inside ChatGPT and then finish requesting and paying in the Uber app. At the moment, it’s available only in the U.S. and supports on-demand rides (not scheduled rides). You can choose ride types such as UberX, UberXL, Comfort, and Black.
There’s also an Uber Eats integration for U.S. users, allowing you to browse nearby restaurants and menu items in ChatGPT and then complete payment in the Uber Eats app.
Zillow
Zillow in ChatGPT is aimed at making home hunting faster and more targeted. Instead of digging through filters manually, you can describe what you want in plain language—price range, bedroom count, neighborhoods, and other criteria—and quickly see listings that match. It’s a more streamlined way to narrow down options and focus on homes that truly fit your needs.
What’s coming next for ChatGPT integrations
OpenAI has also shared that more partners are on the way, including OpenTable, PayPal, and Walmart, with plans to launch these in 2026.
Right now, ChatGPT app integrations are rolling out in the U.S. and Canada. Users in Europe and the U.K. don’t have access yet.
