OpenAI is expanding what ChatGPT can do by adding app integrations that let you connect your favorite services directly to the assistant. Instead of copying info back and forth between apps, you can ask ChatGPT to take action for you. A popular example is Spotify: you can request a personalized playlist in chat, and it will appear in your Spotify account.
How to use ChatGPT app integrations
To start using an integration, first make sure you’re signed in to ChatGPT. Then, simply type the name of the app at the beginning of your prompt. ChatGPT will walk you through the steps to log in and connect your account.
If you’d rather set things up in one go, you can do it from the Settings menu. Go to Apps and Connectors, browse the available options, choose the apps you want, and you’ll be taken to each service’s sign-in flow.
Before you connect anything, it’s worth paying attention to privacy. Linking an account means you’re sharing data from that app with ChatGPT, so you should review the permissions on the connection screen. For instance, connecting Spotify could allow access to details like your playlists and listening history, which helps with personalization but may feel too invasive for some users.
The good news is that disconnections are simple: you can remove any app whenever you want from Settings.
Apps you can connect with ChatGPT right now
Angi
Angi’s integration brings home improvement help into ChatGPT. You can ask questions about repairs or renovation projects, get guidance, and then request to be matched with an Angi professional. After that, you can request a quote and continue the process through Angi, including using its own AI assistant.
Booking.com
This integration is built for travelers who want a more guided way to find accommodations. Once your account is connected, you can ask ChatGPT to surface hotel options based on your destination, travel dates, budget, group size, and preferences like proximity to public transit. You can also narrow results with specifics such as “breakfast included,” then open the listing to complete your booking.
Canva
Canva inside ChatGPT is aimed at anyone who needs design help fast, from social media graphics to posters and presentation decks. After connecting your account, you can request designs with clear requirements, such as “a 16:9 slide deck about our Q4 roadmap,” including preferred fonts, colors, formats, and exact dimensions. Results may still need polish since AI designs can include typos or odd image artifacts, but it can be a strong starting point before refining the final design in Canva.
Coursera
Coursera’s integration helps you find online courses faster by using natural language. You can request something like an “intermediate-level Python course,” then ask ChatGPT to compare options by rating, duration, and price. It can also summarize what each course covers so you can make a quicker decision before enrolling.
DoorDash
DoorDash added a ChatGPT integration focused on meal planning and grocery shopping convenience. You can ask for a meal plan and have ingredients added directly to a DoorDash cart, then review and check out. For now, it’s limited to U.S. users and works with participating grocery retailers, including Kroger, Safeway, Fairway Market, Wegmans, and others.
Expedia
Expedia’s integration lets you browse hotels and flights without leaving the chat. You can specify travel dates, budget, number of travelers, and filters like “only show 4-star hotels.” When you find the right option, you’ll move to Expedia to finalize and book.
Figma
Figma in ChatGPT is designed for teams and builders who want to quickly visualize ideas. You can ask it to generate diagrams, flow charts, and other planning materials that turn brainstorming into something concrete. You can also upload files and have ChatGPT help produce a product roadmap with milestones, deliverables, and deadlines.
Quizlet
Quizlet’s native ChatGPT experience is geared toward studying and test prep. Students can convert chat conversations, notes, or documents into flashcards and study sets. There’s also an in-chat practice mode, plus access to Quizlet’s large library of existing study sets.
Spotify
Spotify is one of the most practical integrations for everyday use. You can ask ChatGPT to create playlists based on mood, specific artists, or a particular vibe, and get music recommendations tailored to your taste. It can also suggest artists, playlists, audiobooks, and podcasts. Beyond recommendations, it can help manage your Spotify library by adding or removing items.
Target
Target launched a beta integration designed to simplify shopping, especially around major deal seasons. You can ask ChatGPT for gift ideas, build a cart with multiple items, and then purchase through your Target account. It also supports shopping scenarios like “movie night,” where ChatGPT suggests a curated set of items. Fulfillment options include same-day Drive Up, in-store pickup, or standard shipping.
Uber and Uber Eats
The Uber integration makes it easier to check ride options when you’re traveling or in unfamiliar places. You can set up your trip details in ChatGPT, then complete the request and payment in the Uber app. It’s currently U.S.-only and supports on-demand rides (not scheduled rides), with options such as UberX, UberXL, Comfort, and Black.
There’s also an Uber Eats integration for U.S. users, allowing you to browse nearby restaurants and menu items in ChatGPT, then finish payment in the Uber Eats app.
Wix
Wix’s integration is built for people who want to create and manage websites faster. With a simple text or voice prompt, you can request a functional website and describe the layout, style, and features you want. Existing Wix users can also handle business tasks through ChatGPT, including scheduling, payments, SEO, accessibility, performance, and security.
Zillow
Zillow’s ChatGPT integration aims to make home hunting quicker and more tailored. You can search using natural prompts and filter by price range, bedrooms, neighborhood, and other criteria. The result is a more streamlined way to narrow down listings that fit what you’re actually looking for.
What’s coming next, and where it’s available
OpenAI has also said more app partners are on the way, with OpenTable, PayPal, and Walmart expected to arrive in 2026.
For now, ChatGPT’s app integrations are rolling out only in the U.S. and Canada. Users in Europe and the U.K. don’t have access yet.
