Lunarium Brings Its Stylish Action RPG Adventure to Players This Month

Lunarium Release Date Set for July 29 on PC

Imperfect Games and Lunarium Game Studio have confirmed that Lunarium, a stylish fantasy action RPG with hand-drawn visuals and intense combat, will launch worldwide for Windows PC via Steam on July 29.

Set in a dark and decaying fantasy world, Lunarium follows two young women, Ave and Lune, as they fight to bring peace back to their collapsing homeland. The game blends emotional storytelling, atmospheric exploration, and fast-paced action RPG combat, creating an adventure built for players who enjoy both narrative depth and skill-based battles.

Game director Jixiang described Lunarium as a title that carefully balances story and dynamic combat, offering an experience designed to appeal to fans of action games and RPGs. With the July 29 release date now confirmed, players will soon be able to uncover the connected destinies of Ave and Lune.

At the center of Lunarium’s gameplay is Ave, a skilled swordmaster who relies on precise timing to survive deadly encounters. Players will need to parry, dodge, and counter enemy attacks with accuracy, turning defense into an opportunity for powerful retaliation. Combat rewards quick reactions and smart decision-making, making every battle feel tense and satisfying.

Ave is joined by Lune, a mysterious sorceress whose magical abilities add another layer of strategy to combat. During encounters, players can build Resonance Points to weaken enemies and unleash stronger combined attacks. This partnership between the two heroines is a major part of the game’s identity, both in battle and in the story.

Players will also be able to customize their approach through a variety of charms called Embroideries. These items provide passive benefits that can shift the outcome of difficult fights, giving players more freedom to shape their strategy. Materials collected throughout the journey can be used to upgrade equipment in the Temple, a safe and peaceful sanctuary that offers relief from the dangerous world outside.

Exploration plays a key role in Lunarium as well. With Lune’s help, players will solve environmental challenges and move through a range of beautifully illustrated locations, including a forgotten Forest, a ruined Castle, and a surreal Archipelago. Each area is designed to reflect the game’s haunting tone while offering new enemies, secrets, and obstacles to overcome.

The adventure will pit Ave and Lune against ancient golems, mutated creatures, and powerful bosses. Defeating these threats allows players to upgrade both characters’ skill trees and unlock advanced abilities, making the duo stronger as the journey grows more dangerous.

Beyond its action and progression systems, Lunarium aims to deliver a story centered on memory, identity, sorrow, and determination. As players uncover the hidden pasts of Ave and Lune, they will gradually piece together the truth behind their meeting and the fate that binds them together. The game will also feature two endings, encouraging players to fully explore its world and narrative.

With its striking art style, emotional fantasy setting, responsive combat, and evocative soundtrack, Lunarium is shaping up to be a notable release for fans of atmospheric action RPGs. The game arrives on PC on July 29.
