Loongson, China’s rising star in the GPU market, is setting high expectations with its upcoming release of the 9A2000 graphics card, poised to rival NVIDIA’s RTX 2080 in gaming performance.

Additionally, the upcoming Loongson 3B6600 octa-core CPUs aim to compete with Intel’s Alder and Raptor Lake chips, showcasing substantial gains in both processing power and efficiency.
However, Loongson faces challenges, notably in driver support. The 9A1000 GPU currently lacks DirectX 12 support, a critical component for modern gaming, though the company is working on incorporating this feature soon.
