Loewe x Jacob & Co. debut bedazzled Ice Diamond and Noir Rainbow ultra-luxe headphones

Loewe and Jacob & Co are redefining “statement audio” with two bejeweled, ultra-luxury over-ear headphones: the €99,000 (about $116,000) Noir Rainbow and the €119,000 (about $139,000) Ice Diamond. Designed for collectors who see sound as art, these handcrafted pieces fuse cutting-edge audio tech with hand-set gemstones and diamonds.

This collaboration pairs two legacies of innovation. Jacob & Co, founded in 1986 by Jacob Arabo, is famous for audacious, technically complex creations, including a tourbillon-laden masterpiece set with hundreds of yellow diamonds. Loewe, established in Germany in 1923 and credited with inventing the world’s first television, is celebrated for refined home cinema and audio design.

Both models are built for high-fidelity listening. They use 50 mm drivers and support high-resolution playback over Bluetooth 5.3 with SBC, AAC, LC3, and LC3+ codecs. You get Dolby Audio, immersive 3D Audio, and active noise cancellation with three modes: off, on, and transparency. A built-in personal AI assistant can capture spoken notes and even handle real-time language translation. Rated IP53 for dust and splash resistance, the headphones deliver up to 65 hours of playtime and recharge fully in about two hours. For purists, there’s also a 3.5 mm unbalanced input for wired listening, though balanced-drive setups typically require different connectors and pairings.

The design story is where these headphones truly separate themselves:

– Noir Rainbow: A celebration of color and contrast, each earcup features a black patterned surface framing a 14K rose gold center ring. Hand-selected gemstones set into the ring create a rainbow effect, totaling 15.97 carats.

– Ice Diamond: Crafted to highlight pure brilliance, its silver-hued patterned earcups surround a 14K white gold ring pavé-set with 456 round brilliant-cut diamonds. The polished rings weigh 42.5 grams and hold 12.47 carats of stones.

Production is as exclusive as the materials. Only five units of each model were made, debuting in Monaco this September aboard the brand’s self-named yacht. More than headphones, they’re wearable objets d’art—pieces that merge haute joaillerie with modern audio engineering.

For enthusiasts seeking the pinnacle of luxury headphones, the Loewe x Jacob & Co collection offers rare craftsmanship, advanced wireless performance, and a level of exclusivity few products in audio can match.
