LisuanTech, widely seen as one of China’s leading homegrown GPU developers, has officially revealed its next wave of graphics cards aimed at both gamers and professional users. The new lineup is led by the gaming-focused Lisuan Extreme series and the workstation-ready Lisuan LX family, all built around the company’s 7G106 GPU from the broader G100 project.
The announcement is a major step forward for LisuanTech’s G100 efforts, which were first shown publicly last July. After a long ramp-up period and early sampling expected to begin shipping toward the end of 2025, the company is now ready to name its first real products using the consumer-oriented 7G106 chip.
Lisuan Extreme gaming graphics card: key specs, design, and game support
The headline gaming model is the Lisuan Extreme “LX 7G100,” created specifically for modern PC gaming. LisuanTech says the card supports today’s major graphics APIs and engines, and it will launch with a special Founders Edition version. That Founders Edition is scheduled to be available starting June 18, aligning with its retail arrival.
On the hardware side, the Lisuan Extreme is built on a 6nm 7G106 GPU and pairs it with 12GB of GDDR6 memory on a 192-bit memory bus. It connects through PCIe 4.0 x16 and is rated for up to 225W of power draw, supplied via a single 8-pin connector. The configuration listed includes 192 TMUs and 96 ROPs, positioning it as LisuanTech’s first full-scale, gamer-targeted discrete graphics card design.
Cooling and I/O also lean heavily into a modern enthusiast look. The card uses a triple-slot cooler with a triple-fan setup, topped by a full-length grille. Display connectivity includes four DisplayPort 1.4a outputs, with support for up to 8K at 60Hz with HDR and FreeSync.
For media and streaming workloads, the card includes AV1 encoding at up to 4K 30 FPS, HEVC encoding at up to 8K 30 FPS, and AV1/HEVC decoding up to 8K 60 FPS. API support includes DirectX 12, Vulkan 1.3, OpenGL 4.6, and OpenCL 3.0, covering gaming, creative tools, and compute use cases.
A notable claim from LisuanTech is out-of-the-box compatibility with many popular AAA titles—something that has often been a pain point for newer or more region-specific GPU ecosystems. The supported game list mentioned includes Baldur’s Gate III, Cyberpunk 2077, Elden Ring, Black Myth: Wukong, The Witcher III, Monster Hunter RISE, Resident Evil 4, and Sekiro, among others.
Lisuan LX series for AI and professional workstations: MAX, PRO, and Ultra
Alongside the gaming card, LisuanTech is expanding into professional and AI-focused workloads with the Lisuan LX series. This lineup is positioned for prosumers, developers, and workstation buyers, and it includes three models: LX MAX, LX PRO, and LX Ultra. All are also powered by the same 7G106 GPU.
At the top sits the LX Ultra, described as the flagship option for workstation environments. It comes with 24GB of VRAM and uses a blower-style cooler—typically favored for tighter cases and multi-GPU or high-density workstation setups where exhausting hot air directly out of the chassis matters.
The LX PRO also carries 24GB of VRAM, but switches to a dual axial-fan design, likely aiming for quieter operation and stronger sustained cooling in more conventional tower builds.
The entry option in the family is the LX MAX. It features 12GB of VRAM and appears to share a similar overall design approach to the LX PRO, but with the reduced memory configuration geared toward lighter professional workloads or more cost-conscious workstation builds.
Compatibility and availability details
LisuanTech says the LX series is designed to work across a broad range of platforms, including CPUs from Intel and AMD as well as several China-based CPU ecosystems such as Hygon, Loongson, Phytium, Zhaoxin, and others. Operating system support includes Windows, UOS, Ubuntu, and Kylinsoft. Like the gaming-focused Lisuan Extreme card, the LX series supports modern graphics and compute APIs, including DirectX 12, Vulkan, OpenGL, and OpenCL.
For buyers planning ahead, LisuanTech states that the three LX models will open for pre-orders on March 17.
With the Lisuan Extreme and LX series, LisuanTech is clearly signaling a push into both mainstream gaming GPUs and the growing AI/workstation graphics market. If real-world performance and driver maturity match the breadth of features and compatibility being promised, this launch could become an important milestone for China’s domestic discrete graphics card industry.
