LG xboom Power Series Launches With Up to 440W Output, AI Karaoke, Party Lighting, and Auracast
LG has expanded its xboom speaker lineup with three new party-focused models built for loud music, karaoke sessions, and large gatherings. The new LG xboom Power series includes the Power 9000, Power 7000, and Power 5000, offering continuous output levels of 440W, 340W, and 260W, respectively.
Designed for house parties, events, and bigger entertainment spaces, the latest xboom Power speakers combine high-output audio with AI-powered features, dynamic lighting, DJ effects, and wireless audio syncing through Auracast.
The flagship model, the LG xboom Power 9000, sits at the top of the range with 440W of continuous sound output. It features two 10-inch woofers and two 1-inch horn tweeters, giving it enough power to cover very large areas. LG claims the speaker can deliver sound across around 2,000 square metres, making it the most capable option in the lineup for big parties and open spaces.
The LG xboom Power 7000 steps down slightly with 340W of continuous output. It uses one 10-inch woofer and two 1-inch horn tweeters, with a claimed coverage area of around 800 square metres. Meanwhile, the LG xboom Power 5000 offers 260W of output through an 8-inch woofer and two 2-inch tweeters, with LG estimating coverage of around 400 square metres.
All three models use LG’s xboom Signature Sound, tuned in collaboration with Grammy-winning musician will.i.am. The goal is to deliver powerful bass, clear vocals, and a lively sound profile suited for party music, karaoke, and everyday listening.
One of the biggest highlights of the new LG xboom Power series is AI Karaoke Master. This feature allows users to turn regular songs from their own music library into karaoke tracks without needing dedicated karaoke versions. AI Vocal Remover reduces or removes the original vocals, while Key Changer adjusts the pitch to better match the singer’s voice.
Each speaker also includes two microphone inputs, making duets possible. That makes the Power 9000, Power 7000, and Power 5000 practical options for family events, small performances, and casual karaoke nights.
LG has also included several features aimed at creating a more complete party experience. Multicolor AI lighting adds visual effects that react to the music, while DJ Performance Effects let users add extra energy to the mix. A built-in Smart Stand can hold a phone or tablet, making it easier to follow lyrics, manage playlists, or control the party setup.
For audio optimization, the speakers include AI Sound, which automatically adjusts playback based on the music genre. Space Calibration Pro analyzes the room or environment and adapts the sound to better suit the space. Sound Field Enhance is also included to create a wider and more immersive listening experience.
Auracast support is another useful addition. With compatible devices, multiple xboom speakers can play the same audio in sync, allowing users to expand sound coverage across larger areas without complicated wiring.
The new Power series appears to target users who want more than a portable Bluetooth speaker. These models are built for louder output, larger spaces, and entertainment-focused features. While LG also offers more portable xboom speakers for outdoor use, the Power lineup is clearly aimed at people who want a stronger party speaker setup with karaoke and event-friendly extras.
The LG xboom Power 5000 also stands out when compared with other popular party speakers in its class. With 260W of listed output, it offers slightly more power than some competing models rated at around 240W RMS. However, some rivals may still have advantages in portability, such as lighter designs, built-in wheels, or replaceable batteries. LG’s strength here is the mix of output power, AI karaoke tools, lighting, sound calibration, and Auracast support.
The LG xboom Power 9000, Power 7000, and Power 5000 are scheduled to launch in select markets starting in August 2026. Pricing, availability, and specifications may vary depending on region.
