Lenovo may be preparing to expand its gaming tablet lineup once again, as a mysterious new Legion tablet has been spotted in China. The unreleased device appeared during the G-Fusion Game Festival 2026, held in Shenzhen from June 27 to June 28, giving fans an early look at what could become the next compact gaming tablet from the brand.
The device was displayed behind a glass case, so only limited details were visible. However, its design clearly places it within Lenovo’s Legion family. A large Legion logo is featured across the rear panel, while the tablet sports a striking two-tone purple finish that gives it a premium gaming-inspired look.
One of the most interesting details is its size. Based on the images shared online, the tablet appears to be smaller than the Legion Y700 5th Gen, also known as the Legion Tab Gen 5, which comes with an 8.8-inch display. If accurate, Lenovo could be working on an even more portable gaming tablet aimed at users who want powerful performance in a smaller form factor.
The rear design includes a single protruding camera module surrounded by the familiar broken-circle Legion styling. Text on the back of the device indicates that the camera uses a 50MP sensor, matching the camera resolution found on the Legion Tab Gen 5. The back panel also appears to curve smoothly into the frame, which may improve grip and comfort during long gaming sessions.
Lenovo has already introduced several Legion tablets this year, including the Legion Y700 5th Gen, Legion Y900 11, and Legion Y900 13. The appearance of this unreleased model suggests the company may not be finished with its 2026 tablet plans. A smaller Legion gaming tablet could help Lenovo reach users who prefer handheld-style gaming, cloud gaming, emulation, and high-performance Android gaming on a compact screen.
At the moment, Lenovo has not officially confirmed the tablet’s name, specifications, launch date, or pricing. There has also been no announcement from the company’s official Legion channels about a new model. Still, the fact that the device was publicly displayed at a gaming event suggests that more information could surface soon.
For now, the mystery Lenovo Legion tablet remains one to watch. If it combines a compact display, strong gaming performance, a 50MP camera, and the Legion series’ signature cooling and design features, it could become a notable option in the growing gaming tablet market.
