Lenovo ThinkCentre X AIO Aura Edition launches globally with a tall 27.6-inch display and Intel Core Ultra options
Lenovo has expanded the availability of its distinctive ThinkCentre X AIO Aura Edition, an all-in-one desktop PC built around an unusual tall display designed for productivity. The 28-inch-class model first appeared in Japan several months ago, but Lenovo has now quietly rolled it out to more international markets, including Australia, East Asia, Southeast Asia, and much of Europe.
North American buyers may still have to wait a little longer. Lenovo currently lists the ThinkCentre X AIO Aura Edition as “coming soon” in the United States and Canada, with no confirmed pricing or release date available yet.
In markets where it is already available, the new Lenovo all-in-one desktop sits firmly in the premium productivity category. Starting prices include around AUD 2,820 in Australia, €2,113 to €2,661 in the Eurozone, HKD 18,138 in Hong Kong, MYR 8,628 in Malaysia, SGD 3,028 in Singapore, and £1,933 in the United Kingdom, which is roughly $2,655.
The base configuration includes an Intel Core Ultra 5 325 processor, 16 GB of LPDDR5X memory, and 512 GB of storage. For users who need more performance, Lenovo also offers a configuration with the significantly stronger Intel Core Ultra X7 368H. This chip brings twice as many CPU cores as the Core Ultra 5 325 and delivers a clear performance boost, making it a better fit for heavier multitasking, creative workloads, and demanding office environments.
The graphics difference is even more noticeable. The Core Ultra X7 368H configuration includes Intel Arc B390 integrated graphics, giving it a major advantage over the lower-end model for visual tasks, light content creation, and improved graphics performance.
Storage options are also generous. The ThinkCentre X AIO Aura Edition can be configured with up to 2 TB of PCIe Gen 5 storage, and it also supports a secondary M.2 2280 drive. However, memory appears to be limited to 16 GB of RAM in most regions, which may disappoint users hoping for higher-capacity configurations.
The main highlight of the Lenovo ThinkCentre X AIO Aura Edition is its display. Every model features a 27.6-inch IPS panel with a 60 Hz refresh rate, 98% DCI-P3 color coverage, and 300 nits of peak brightness. While those display specs may sound fairly standard at first, the resolution is what makes this machine stand out.
Lenovo uses a 2,560 x 2,880 resolution, creating an uncommon 16:18 aspect ratio. Instead of the usual widescreen layout, this taller display is designed to feel like working with two vertically stacked A4 pages. That makes it especially appealing for users who spend a lot of time reading documents, editing text, managing spreadsheets, coding, or working across multiple windows.
With its space-saving all-in-one design, premium Intel Core Ultra hardware, and productivity-focused vertical display, the Lenovo ThinkCentre X AIO Aura Edition is clearly aimed at business users, creators, and professionals who want a cleaner desk setup without sacrificing screen space.
Although its high starting price may limit its appeal to casual buyers, the ThinkCentre X AIO Aura Edition offers something different from the typical all-in-one PC. For users who value vertical workspace and modern desktop performance in a compact design, Lenovo’s latest global release could be one of the more interesting productivity desktops of the year.
