Lenovo ThinkPad L16 Gen 3 launches globally with Panther Lake chips, up to 64GB RAM and long battery life
Lenovo is expanding the availability of its new 16-inch ThinkPad L16 Gen 3, bringing the business-focused laptop to more global markets with updated Intel Panther Lake processors. The refreshed model is now beginning to replace earlier Arrow Lake-based versions in North America, while also becoming available across more of Europe.
The ThinkPad L16 Gen 3 is aimed at professionals, hybrid workers, students, and enterprise buyers who want a large-screen laptop with strong configuration options and the durability typically associated with Lenovo’s ThinkPad lineup. While the design remains focused on productivity rather than flashy styling, the latest hardware refresh makes the laptop more appealing for users who need reliable performance for office work, multitasking, video meetings, spreadsheets, web apps, and light creative workloads.
In Europe, Lenovo offers the ThinkPad L16 Gen 3 with configurations reaching up to the Intel Core Ultra 7 355 processor. Buyers can also choose up to 1TB of PCIe Gen4 M.2 2280 SSD storage, giving the laptop fast file transfers, quick boot times, and enough space for business documents, media, and applications.
Memory options are also more generous in European markets, with the laptop configurable with up to 64GB of DDR5-5600 RAM. The North American version is more limited at launch. In the United States and Canada, Lenovo currently restricts the ThinkPad L16 Gen 3 to the Intel Core Ultra 5 325 processor, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD. Pricing starts at $1,569 in the US and CAD 2,179 in Canada at the time of writing.
European pricing varies by region. In the UK, the ThinkPad L16 Gen 3 starts at £1,464, while Eurozone pricing ranges from €1,489 to €2,638 depending on the selected configuration.
All versions of the Lenovo ThinkPad L16 Gen 3 come with a 16-inch IPS display featuring a 1200p resolution, 400 nits of brightness, a 60Hz refresh rate, and 45% NTSC color coverage. Lenovo offers both non-touch and touchscreen display options, giving buyers some flexibility depending on how they prefer to work.
