Lenovo unveils Moto G100 (2025): budget powerhouse with a massive battery and 50MP camera

Moto G100 (2025) launches in China with 7,000 mAh battery, Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, and 120 Hz display for CNY 1,399 (around $196)

Lenovo has refreshed the Motorola Moto G100 for 2025, and it’s a compelling budget smartphone built around battery life and smooth performance. Priced at CNY 1,399, roughly $196, the new model debuts in China with hardware that targets value hunters who want a phone that lasts all day and keeps up with everyday tasks.

The standout is the massive 7,000 mAh battery, designed to ease battery anxiety and deliver all-day endurance. It supports 30 W fast charging, though the brand hasn’t confirmed whether a fast charger is included in the box.

Up front, the Moto G100 (2025) features a 6.72-inch LCD with a 120 Hz refresh rate for fluid scrolling and smoother animations. The panel is rated for up to 1,050 nits of peak brightness and includes DC dimming to help reduce eye strain. The listed resolution is 2400 x 1800 pixels.

Under the hood, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 powers the show, paired with 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. There’s no microSD card slot, so buyers will want to choose storage carefully.

For photography, the rear setup is led by a 50 MP Sony LYT-600 main camera, joined by an 8 MP ultrawide and a dedicated macro sensor. A 32 MP front camera handles selfies and video calls. The phone also includes stereo speakers for a more immersive audio experience and an IP64 rating for resistance against dust and water splashes. It will be offered in three color options.
