Lenovo has officially confirmed its next-generation Legion Y700 tablet for China, and the company is already building hype by sharing key performance numbers ahead of the launch. According to details shared by Lenovo on Weibo, the upcoming Legion Y700 will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Lenovo is pairing the chipset with LPDDR5T memory rated at speeds up to 10,667Mbps, along with UFS 4.1 Pro storage. Earlier rumors also point to high-end configurations that could reach up to 24GB of RAM and as much as 1TB of storage, which would put it firmly in flagship territory for performance-focused tablets.
The most attention-grabbing claim so far is Lenovo’s AnTuTu benchmark score. The company says the Legion Y700 hits 4,532,189 points. That’s an unusually high figure for an Android tablet and suggests Lenovo is pushing for top-tier sustained performance—something mobile gamers and power users care about just as much as raw speed on paper. Lenovo also positions this as a major leap compared to other premium tablets, citing that a competing flagship tab scores around 2.5 million on AnTuTu.
On the display side, Lenovo has already confirmed an 8.8-inch screen with a sharp 3,040 x 1,904 resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. This combination should appeal to players who want smoother motion in fast-paced games while keeping the device small enough to hold comfortably for longer sessions—one of the biggest reasons the Legion Y700 lineup has attracted a following.
Battery and charging expectations also look strong for a compact gaming tablet. The Legion Y700 is expected to pack a 9,000mAh battery and support 68W fast charging, which could help reduce downtime between sessions. Camera details are also starting to surface, with talk of a 50MP rear camera.
