Lenovo has unveiled two new budget-friendly curved gaming monitors: the Legion R27qc-30 and Legion R32qc-30. These monitors feature a 1500R curved QHD VA panel and boast a 180 Hz refresh rate. They are equipped with two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4 port. Both models will be available later this year, starting at $270.
These new gaming monitors were launched alongside five new accessories for the Legion Go handheld. The Legion R27qc-30 sports a 27-inch panel, while the Legion R32qc-30 comes with a 32-inch panel. Although they are nearly identical in terms of features, the 27-inch version is slightly more color accurate, covering 120% of the sRGB color gamut, as opposed to the 32-inch version’s 112% coverage. Both monitors encompass 90% of the DCI-P3 color space, ensuring vibrant and precise color reproduction.
Other significant features of the Legion R27qc-30 and Legion R32qc-30 include QHD resolution (2,560 x 1,440), a 180 Hz refresh rate when connected via DisplayPort (with HDMI limited to 144 Hz), and a fast 0.5 ms response time (grey-to-grey). Additionally, they come with built-in 3 Watt speakers, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and support AMD FreeSync technology for a smoother gaming experience.
These monitors are positioned as mid-range options, reflected in their competitive pricing. The Legion R27qc-30 will be available in December 2024 for $270, while the Legion R32qc-30 is set to be released in October 2024 for $320. More details about these monitors are expected to be shared closer to their launch dates.
