Lenovo has expanded its premium laptop lineup with the ThinkPad X9 15p Aura Edition, a new 15-inch class model now rolling out globally with high-end specs aimed at creators and power users. One of the biggest highlights is the option to configure the laptop with up to 64 GB of fast LPDDR5X-9600 memory, making it a strong pick for heavy multitasking, large spreadsheets, code work, and demanding creative apps.
Under the hood, the processor includes Intel’s Arc B390 integrated graphics, featuring 12 Xe3 GPU cores. Early performance results for this iGPU have been encouraging, positioning the ThinkPad X9 15p as a capable machine for graphics-accelerated workloads without relying on a dedicated graphics card.
Lenovo also pairs the platform with an 88 Wh battery and offers a choice of two 15.3-inch OLED display options. Both screens use a sharp 2.8K panel, with the main difference being touch support: one model includes touch input, while the other is non-touch. Lenovo says both OLED panels cover 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, which is important for accurate, vibrant color in photo and video work. They also support a 30–120 Hz variable refresh rate for smoother motion and better efficiency, along with 500 nits peak brightness in SDR and up to 1,100 nits in HDR for punchier highlights when viewing compatible content.
Availability and pricing vary by region. In North America, Lenovo is currently selling the ThinkPad X9 15p Aura Edition in a single configuration. In the United States, it’s priced at $2,899, while Canada lists it at CAD 4,029. This North American version includes 32 GB of RAM, 1 TB of storage, and the touchscreen OLED display.
In other markets, Lenovo offers more flexibility, including configurations with up to 64 GB of RAM and the non-touch OLED option. Pricing examples include £3,020 in the UK, AUD 3,582 in Australia, and roughly €2,862 to €3,549 across the Eurozone, depending on configuration.
