Lenovo has introduced a new budget-friendly gaming monitor in China under its Lecoo sub-brand, and it could be an appealing option for gamers who want a high-refresh-rate 1440p display without spending much. The new model, called the Lecoo N2757Q, combines a 27-inch Fast IPS panel, a sharp QHD resolution, and a 200Hz refresh rate at a launch price of CNY 799, which is roughly $118.
The biggest attraction of the Lenovo Lecoo N2757Q is its speed. The monitor offers a native 200Hz refresh rate, which can be pushed further to 210Hz through overclocking. For competitive gaming, especially in fast-paced shooters, racing titles, and esports games, that higher refresh rate can make motion look smoother and controls feel more responsive.
The display uses a 27-inch IPS panel with a 2560 x 1440 resolution, giving gamers a strong balance between sharp visuals and high performance. QHD remains one of the most popular resolutions for PC gaming because it provides better image detail than Full HD while still being easier to drive than 4K. Lenovo also claims a 1ms GTG response time, which should help reduce ghosting and motion blur during intense gameplay.
Color performance is another key part of the Lecoo N2757Q’s appeal. Lenovo says the monitor covers 121% of the sRGB color space and 96% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. While these figures do not automatically make it a professional-grade color-accurate display, they suggest the monitor should deliver vibrant visuals for gaming, media consumption, and everyday use.
Brightness is rated at 400 nits, allowing the monitor to meet the HDR400 standard. This should provide a brighter viewing experience in supported HDR content, although users should not expect the same level of contrast and dynamic range found on higher-end HDR displays with advanced local dimming.
Lenovo has also included dedicated game modes designed for different genres, including FPS and RTS titles. These modes are meant to improve visibility and responsiveness in competitive scenarios, helping players spot enemies more easily or react faster during gameplay.
For connectivity, the Lecoo N2757Q offers a practical setup with two DisplayPort 1.4 ports and two HDMI 2.1 ports. This gives users enough flexibility to connect multiple devices, such as a gaming PC, laptop, and console, without constantly swapping cables.
The monitor also features an adjustable stand, VESA mount support, and a clean, minimalist design. These additions make it easier to fit into different desk setups, whether for gaming, work, or entertainment.
At around $118 in China, the Lenovo Lecoo N2757Q stands out as an aggressive value option in the gaming monitor market. A 27-inch 1440p IPS display with a 200Hz refresh rate is usually found at a higher price point, making this model especially interesting for budget-conscious gamers.
For now, Lenovo has only launched the Lecoo N2757Q in China. It remains unclear whether the monitor will be released in other regions, as Lecoo-branded products are not widely available internationally. If it does reach more markets at a similarly competitive price, it could become one of the most attractive affordable 1440p gaming monitors available.
