Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 7 Snapdragon launches with long battery life and Snapdragon X2 options
Lenovo’s latest ThinkPad T14s Gen 7 Snapdragon is now available in Australia, Canada, and the United States, bringing a new 14-inch business laptop option for users who want strong portability, efficient performance, and impressive battery life.
Pricing starts at AUD 2,490 in Australia, CAD 2,469 in Canada, and $1,719 in the US. The base configuration includes the Snapdragon X2 Plus X2P-42-100 processor, 16 GB of RAM, and a 400-nit display. Storage varies by region, with North American models starting at 256 GB SSD, while the Australian version begins with a larger 512 GB SSD.
For buyers who need more processing power, Lenovo also offers the ThinkPad T14s Gen 7 with the Snapdragon X2 Elite X2E-80-100. This 12-core chip sits below higher-tier Snapdragon X2 Elite variants, but it still delivers a notable performance boost. Lenovo claims the Snapdragon X2 Elite X2E-80-100 is roughly 20% faster than the Snapdragon X2 Plus X2P-42-100, with the upgrade costing $160 in the US.
The laptop can be configured with either 16 GB or 32 GB of LPDDR5X-9600 memory, giving users options depending on workload needs. Storage choices include 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB M.2 2242 SSDs, making the device suitable for everyday productivity, business use, cloud-based work, and heavier multitasking.
Battery life is one of the biggest selling points of the ThinkPad T14s Gen 7 Snapdragon. Lenovo equips the laptop with a 58 Wh battery, and official testing suggests it can last more than 27 hours under certain conditions. That makes it an attractive option for frequent travelers, remote workers, and professionals who need a laptop that can keep going through long workdays without constantly reaching for a charger.
