Lenovo has released its cutting-edge ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 13 Aura Edition in China, setting a new benchmark in the laptop world with its innovative features. This model stands out as one of the pioneering laptops globally equipped with a PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot, which significantly boosts data transfer speeds.
The PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot in the ThinkPad X1 Carbon promises nearly double the performance of its 4.0 predecessors. This leap in capability is due to the newer interface’s impressive data transfer rate of 3,938 MB/s per lane, which surpasses the 1,969 MB/s rate of the earlier generation.
