Lenovo Legion Pro 7i RTX 5080 Gaming Laptop Drops to $2,649 in a Major $850 Deal
The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i with Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 5080 is back at a tempting price, giving high-end PC gamers a chance to pick up a powerful 16-inch gaming laptop for significantly less than its original price. This configuration is now available for $2,649, which is $850 below Lenovo’s listed MSRP of around $3,499. That works out to roughly 24% off.
For gamers looking for a premium laptop that can handle modern AAA titles, high-refresh esports gaming, content creation, and heavy multitasking, this Legion Pro 7i deal is worth paying attention to.
This model comes equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor, 32GB of DDR5 memory, and a spacious 2TB SSD. The star of the system, however, is the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 laptop GPU, which is designed for serious gaming performance and demanding creative workloads.
The display is another major highlight. Lenovo has fitted this Legion Pro 7i with a 16-inch OLED panel featuring a sharp 1600p resolution and a smooth 240Hz refresh rate. The screen also covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space and can reach more than 1,000 nits of peak HDR brightness, making it a strong choice for both immersive gaming and media consumption. OLED technology also brings perfect black levels and excellent contrast, which can make games and movies look far more vivid than on typical LCD panels.
Performance is clearly the main focus of this laptop. The combination of the Core Ultra 9 processor and high-powered RTX 5080 graphics should make the Legion Pro 7i capable of running the latest games at high settings, especially with the help of modern Nvidia features such as AI-enhanced rendering and frame generation where supported.
That said, buyers should know what to expect from a machine in this performance class. A powerful 16-inch gaming laptop with a high-wattage GPU can run hot and loud under heavy load. This is common among desktop-replacement gaming notebooks, especially when they are tuned for maximum performance rather than quiet operation. If you plan to use it for long gaming sessions, headphones may be a good idea.
The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i also offers a premium overall package beyond raw speed. It includes a well-built keyboard, a sturdy design, and a useful selection of ports. Connectivity options include DisplayPort 2.1 and USB-C Power Delivery support up to 140 watts, making it more flexible for external monitors, accessories, and travel setups.
At $2,649, this RTX 5080 gaming laptop is still a serious investment. However, high-end gaming laptops have not been seeing many aggressive discounts lately, especially with rising component costs affecting memory and storage prices. For buyers who want a future-ready Lenovo gaming laptop with a top-tier GPU, fast processor, large SSD, plenty of RAM, and an excellent OLED display, this deal makes the Legion Pro 7i much more appealing.
It is worth noting that this price is $150 higher than a previous low seen earlier, but the current $850 discount still makes it one of the more competitive offers for a premium RTX 5080 laptop. Availability and pricing may change quickly, so interested shoppers may want to act before the deal disappears.
