km5 is expanding its portable audio lineup with a new wireless speaker designed to match the clean, compact style of its Cp1 CD player. The newly introduced km5 Sp1 keeps things refreshingly simple, combining a minimalist design with multiple playback options for listeners who want a stylish speaker for everyday use.
The km5 Sp1 follows the same dimensions as the Cp1 CD player, making it a natural companion for users who enjoy a coordinated audio setup. Its front panel is almost entirely dedicated to the speaker grille, giving it a sleek and uncluttered look. Playback and volume controls are placed on the top, keeping the design practical without disrupting the speaker’s clean appearance.
Inside, the Sp1 is equipped with two 45 mm full-range drivers and two passive radiators. This setup is designed to deliver a fuller sound from a compact body, offering a balance of clarity and bass for casual listening at home, in a studio space, or on the go.
The speaker also offers several ways to enjoy music. Users can stream wirelessly through Bluetooth, tune in to FM radio, or play audio directly from a microSD card. This flexibility makes the km5 Sp1 suitable for both modern streaming habits and offline listening.
Battery life is another key feature. According to km5, the Sp1 can run for up to 12 hours on a single charge, giving users enough playback time for a full day of music, radio, or background audio.
Alongside the Sp1 speaker, km5 is also preparing to release the Mp1 mixer. Both the km5 Sp1 speaker and Mp1 mixer are expected to launch in February 2027. Pricing has not yet been announced, so interested buyers will have to wait for further details from the company.
With its compact design, wireless playback support, FM radio, microSD compatibility, and long battery life, the km5 Sp1 looks set to appeal to fans of minimalist audio gear who want a portable speaker that blends style with everyday functionality.
