Keychron Debuts Thunderbolt 5 Dock With Triple Ports and 140W Charging

Keychron Launches Its First Thunderbolt 5 Dock With Triple Thunderbolt 5 Ports and HDMI 2.1 Support

Keychron is expanding beyond keyboards and desktop accessories with the launch of its first Thunderbolt 5 dock, a high-speed connectivity hub designed for users who need more ports, faster data transfer, and a cleaner workstation setup.

The new Keychron Thunderbolt 5 Dock is built for modern laptops and desktop PCs, offering a powerful selection of ports for creators, professionals, gamers, and anyone working with multiple displays or large files. Its headline feature is the inclusion of three Thunderbolt 5 ports, giving users access to next-generation bandwidth for demanding peripherals, external storage, and display setups.

On the rear panel, the dock includes two HDMI 2.1 ports, making it a strong option for users who want to connect high-resolution monitors or TVs. HDMI 2.1 support is especially useful for smoother output at higher resolutions and refresh rates, depending on the connected device and display.

The back also features two USB-A ports with speeds of up to 10 Gbit/s, along with a 2.5 Gbit/s Ethernet port for faster and more stable wired networking. This makes the dock useful for home offices, creative studios, and gaming setups where reliable internet performance matters.

Keychron has placed the remaining ports on the front for easier access. These include two additional USB-A 10 Gbit/s ports, one USB-C 10 Gbit/s port, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and both SD and microSD card readers. The front-facing card readers should be especially convenient for photographers, videographers, and content creators who frequently transfer media from cameras, drones, or mobile devices.

The dock is not limited to Thunderbolt 5 systems. It also works with laptops and desktop PCs that support Thunderbolt 4 or USB4. However, users should expect some bandwidth limitations when connecting through older standards, meaning certain ports may not perform at their maximum speed compared to a full Thunderbolt 5 connection.

With a broad port selection and a focus on high-speed connectivity, the Keychron Thunderbolt 5 Dock is positioned as a premium desktop hub for users who want to reduce cable clutter while expanding the capabilities of their computer.

The Keychron Thunderbolt 5 Dock is available now through Amazon and Keychron’s online store, priced at $349.99.
