Japanese Mini PC Debuts With Ryzen AI 7 450 Power and Built-In Fingerprint Security

iiyama Launches Compact Ryzen AI 7 450 Mini PC With USB4, Wi-Fi 7, and Dual Ethernet

Japanese PC brand iiyama has introduced the STYLE-I1MA-RA45-EZDX, a compact mini PC designed for users who want strong everyday performance in a small, desk-friendly system. Built around AMD’s Ryzen AI 7 450 processor, the new model targets office work, home computing, digital signage, and compact workstation setups.

At the center of the mini PC is the AMD Ryzen AI 7 450, an 8-core, 16-thread chip based on the Zen 5 architecture. The processor can boost up to 5.1 GHz and supports DDR5 memory, giving the system enough power for multitasking, productivity apps, web-based workloads, and light creative tasks. It also includes a dedicated NPU for AI-related processing, while graphics are handled by the integrated Radeon 860M GPU.

The STYLE-I1MA-RA45-EZDX stands out by combining compact dimensions with business-friendly features. One of its most practical additions is a fingerprint reader built directly into the power button, making login faster and more secure. The system also includes two Ethernet ports, with one supporting 2.5GbE and the other offering 1GbE connectivity. This makes it useful for office networks, server-style tasks, or environments where wired reliability is important.

The standard configuration comes with 8 GB of DDR5 RAM, installed as a single module, along with a 500 GB NVMe M.2 SSD and Windows 11 Home. For users who need more performance or storage space, iiyama offers build-to-order options that allow buyers to upgrade the memory and SSD capacity.

Connectivity is one of the strongest parts of this mini PC. On the front, the system includes two USB 3.1 Type-A ports, one USB4 Type-C port with DisplayPort output, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and an SD card reader. Around the back, it offers two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, another USB4 Type-C port with DisplayPort support, HDMI, DisplayPort, and the two Ethernet ports. Wireless connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5, giving the machine support for modern wireless networks and accessories.

Despite its capable hardware, the mini PC remains very compact. It measures 139.9 × 129.9 × 43.9 mm, or roughly 5.51 × 5.11 × 1.73 inches, making it easy to place on a desk, behind a monitor, or in a small workspace. Optional VESA mounting is supported, with the mounting kit priced at ¥1,900, or about $12.

The iiyama STYLE-I1MA-RA45-EZDX is currently available in Japan for ¥169,800, including tax, which is approximately $1,075. At the moment, the company has not confirmed whether the mini PC will be released in other markets.
