Jabra has officially introduced its new Evolve3 lineup, positioning the Evolve3 75 and Evolve3 85 as premium headsets built for productivity and long workdays. These are high-end models with a feature set aimed at professionals who spend hours in meetings, on calls, or listening to music while working.
The biggest change is also the most controversial: Jabra has removed the flexible boom microphone found on earlier Evolve-style headsets. Instead, the Evolve3 75 (on-ear) and Evolve3 85 (over-ear) rely on integrated microphones. Jabra is pairing that hardware with a multi-mic system, onboard processing, and software-based noise reduction designed to minimize background distractions and keep voices clear during calls. The result is a cleaner, more “premium headphone” look that blends in with other flagship wireless models—though some users may miss having a dedicated mic arm for consistent voice pickup.
Battery life is one of the standout selling points. Jabra claims the Evolve3 85 can deliver up to 120 hours of music playback on a single charge, plus up to 25 hours of talk time with active noise cancellation turned off. The smaller Evolve3 75 is rated for up to 110 hours of music and up to 22 hours of calls under similar conditions. Real-world performance will ultimately depend on volume, features enabled, and usage patterns, but the advertised numbers are eye-catching for anyone who wants to go days (or even weeks) between charges.
Fast charging is included as well, with Jabra stating that a quick 10-minute charge can provide up to 10 hours of use—ideal for busy schedules when you realize your headset is running low right before a meeting.
Beyond battery, the Evolve3 series checks many premium boxes. Both models include adaptive noise cancellation, Spatial Sound, support for high-fidelity codecs (LC3, SBC, and AAC), wireless charging, and even replaceable batteries—an increasingly rare feature that could make these headsets more appealing for long-term ownership.
Pricing reflects the flagship positioning. The Jabra Evolve3 85 is set at $649, while the Evolve3 75 comes in at $463. For availability, the black versions of both headsets are scheduled to arrive starting March 1, with the warm gray options following about a month later.
With the Evolve3 75 and Evolve3 85, Jabra is clearly aiming at professionals who want premium comfort, advanced noise control, and especially extreme battery life—while betting that integrated microphones and smart noise processing can replace the familiarity of a classic boom-mic design.
