Roborock has just unveiled its latest innovation, the Z1 Molecular Sieve Washer Dryer, now available for pre-order in China. This sleek and ultra-thin appliance handles loads up to 12 kg, the equivalent of around 60 t-shirts. What makes the Z1 truly stand out is its advanced technology and premium design, including a GloScreen, which is a full-color touch screen integrated into the door with a seamless borderless design.
One of the standout features of this model is the Zeo-cycle system, which uses a molecular sieve for low-temperature drying that is gentle on your clothes. For instance, a wool cycle can dry items at a comfortable 37°C (99°F), and the machine is smart enough to stop automatically when your clothes are perfectly dry.
In addition, the Z1 introduces the new FineFoam technology that pre-mixes detergent and water before applying it to your clothes, significantly reducing both water and energy consumption. With 30 customizable cycles, including a specialized stain-washing setting that adjusts the temperature throughout the wash, the Z1 offers versatility to meet various laundry needs.
Other notable features include automatic detergent dispensing, steam cleaning, and the convenience of app-based controls, allowing you to manage your laundry from your smartphone.
Currently, the Roborock Z1 Molecular Sieve Washer Dryer is available for pre-order in China at a discounted price of 4,599 yuan (approximately $646). Once the pre-sale event ends on September 28th, the price is expected to rise to 6,599 yuan (about $927). There is no word yet on when or if the Z1 will be available in other markets such as Europe. However, the Roborock Zeo One washer dryer is already available in countries like Germany, offering some hope for an eventual international release.
