Razer has just unveiled the sleek and compact BlackWidow V4 Pro 75% mechanical keyboard, designed to cater to both gamers and professionals who demand performance and style. This high-end keyboard boasts Razer’s 3rd Generation Tactile Mechanical Switches, promising a quiet yet highly responsive typing experience.
With a streamlined 75% layout, the BlackWidow V4 Pro ditches the number pad while keeping essential arrow and function keys, balancing compactness with utility. One of its standout features is a 2-inch OLED display—ideal for showcasing system data, or even custom GIFs through Razer Synapse, the brand’s versatile configuration software. Adjacent to the display, a media dial facilitates seamless control over brightness, volume, and app switching.
Razer prides itself on the keyboard’s build quality. It combines a robust aluminum top shell with a plastic base, further enhanced with sound-absorbing foam. The keys themselves are hot-swappable and lubricated to ensure smooth, stable key presses. The introduction of a “tape mod” lowers the keyboard’s sound profile, making it office-friendly by reducing noise during use.
For connectivity, the BlackWidow V4 Pro offers multiple options: Razer HyperSpeed Wireless (2.4 GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, and USB-C. Gamers will appreciate the 4,000 Hz polling rate, ensuring ultra-responsive inputs. Powered by a 4,200 mAh battery, Razer claims this keyboard can last up to 2,100 hours in energy-saving mode.
Priced at €350 (around $388), the keyboard is now available for pre-order and shipping starts on September 24. It comes in two configurations—US International and ISO. While the US International layout uses dead keys for accented characters, the ISO version includes an extra key for special characters.
Elevate your gaming or work setup with the new Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro 75%, a fantastic addition to Razer’s lineup of feature-rich keyboards.
