Introducing the Motorola Moto G55 5G: A Feature-Rich Mid-Range Marvel Under €250

Motorola has unveiled the Moto G55 5G, a new addition to their mid-range smartphone lineup, which offers a more budget-friendly option compared to the Moto G85 5G. The device, already available in some markets, is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7025 chipset. This chipset is constructed using a 6 nm manufacturing process and incorporates ARM Cortex-A78 and Cortex-A55 CPU cores for efficient performance.

The Moto G55 5G is equipped with a substantial 5,000 mAh battery that supports 30 W wired charging. However, it does not include wireless charging capabilities. This charging capability represents an improvement as it offers double the peak charging wattage of its predecessor.

The smartphone features a 6.49-inch display, with dimensions measuring 161.56 x 73.82 x 8.09~8.19 mm. The IPS display supports a 1080p resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a 20:9 aspect ratio, aiming to provide a smooth visual experience. Camera-wise, the Moto G55 5G includes a 50 MP primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 16 MP front-facing camera, and an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera.

Currently, the Moto G55 5G is available in the Eurozone for €249, which includes 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The smartphone is also expected to become available in selected markets in Latin America and the Asia-Pacific region, as well as the UK. However, Motorola has yet to announce the exact pricing and availability details for these additional markets.
