Introducing the Corsair AI Workstation 300 Mini-PC: Powered by AMD Strix Halo and Featuring Liquid Cooling

AMD’s Strix Halo processors are making waves across various devices. Recently, Sixunited showcased a laptop and motherboard, while GPD and Ayaneo introduced the Win 5 and Next 2 as the first handhelds powered by Strix Halo. Now, Corsair enters the scene with a mini-PC, the Corsair AI Workstation 300.

This compact workstation comes with two CPU choices: the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 and the Ryzen AI Max 385. The latter offers eight Zen 5 CPU cores and a 32 CU Radeon 8050s integrated GPU, while the 395 model boasts 16 cores and a 40 CU Radeon 8060s. Your choice of CPU affects the memory and storage options.

Opting for the Ryzen AI Max 395+ gives you up to 128 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 4 TB of solid-state storage. Meanwhile, the Max 385 model supports 64 GB RAM and a 1 TB NVMe SSD. A 350-Watt power supply ensures plenty of headroom for performance needs, enhanced by Corsair’s liquid cooling system.

This mini-PC is well-contained, measuring 247.5 mm in height, 188.4 mm in length, and 96.5 mm in width. Weighing 7 kg, its heft is attributed to the cooling system, though internal shots aren’t provided for detailed inspection.

On the connectivity front, it features a front SD card reader, a USB 4.0 Type-C port, two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The back panel includes two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, one HDMI 2.1, one DP 1.4 port, an additional USB 3.2 Type-A, a USB 4.0 port, a 2.5 Gbps RJ45 Ethernet jack, and another 3.5 mm audio jack.

The Ryzen AI Max 385 model is priced at $1,599, while the Max+ 395 upgrade is $1,999. Adding 4 TB storage increases the cost to $2,299. It’s available for purchase directly from Corsair’s website.
