Introducing GMK K12: A Budget-Friendly Mini PC Featuring OCuLink and Massive 24 TB Storage Capacity

The GMK K12 has made a notable entrance in the realm of mini PCs, particularly attracting attention with its budget-friendly price of around $293 in China. This sleek machine, powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 H 255, is part of the Hawk Point lineup, boasting eight Zen 4 cores and offering a robust performance of up to 70W.

The K12’s standout feature is its Radeon 780M integrated graphics, which can handle many modern AAA games at low to medium settings. Additionally, the mini PC includes USB4 and OCuLink ports, enabling users to connect an external GPU for an enhanced gaming experience.

Connectivity options are comprehensive, featuring HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1, and dual 2.5G Ethernet ports. The system supports up to 128 GB of DDR5 RAM running at 5600 MHz, with three PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots accommodating up to 24 TB of storage.

To keep things cool, the K12 is equipped with an innovative VC heat spreader design and 3D air inlets. The active cooling fan utilizes intelligent speed control, ensuring efficiency by adapting to system loads.

Other appealing features include three performance modes, WiFi 6E compatibility, and the ability to support four-screen output. As GMKtec prepares to expand this affordable powerhouse to the global market, many are eager to see if variants with the non-H Ryzen 7 255 will follow.
