Colorful has introduced its top-tier Z790 iGame Vulcan motherboards, designed with E-ATX form factors and packed with features tailored for high-end PCs. The new iGame Vulcan series is intended to raise the bar in terms of aesthetics and build quality, potentially elevating Colorful’s status in the premium motherboard market.
Key highlights of these motherboards include the exclusive Cyber God suit Super Dimension Vulcan series, Vulcan cooling armor with comprehensive heat dissipation, support for dual-channel DDR5-7800(OC) MHz memory, and a robust 19+1+1 phase power design utilizing Dr. MOS 105A. Additionally, the boards offer 1 PCIe 5.0 x4 M.2 SSD slot and 3 PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 SSD slots.
For connectivity, these motherboards feature various high-speed interfaces including a front USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 20Gbps Type-C port (supporting PD3.0 at 60W) and two rear USB 4 40Gbps Type-C ports with video output capabilities up to 4K 60Hz resolution. Networking is advanced with Realtek 2.5G and 5G dual-speed wired network cards, alongside a BE200 WiFi 7 wireless network card supporting Bluetooth 5.4. The boards also support iGame Center lighting control software for synchronized lighting effects across the radiator, cooling fan, and memory.
The new additions come in two models: the black iGame Z790D5 Vulcan V20 X and the white iGame Z790D5 Vulcan V20 W, both featuring identical specifications. These E-ATX boards, measuring 305mm x 277mm, are equipped with a protective plate on both the back and front to enhance heat dissipation and provide a sleek appearance. They include a unique, non-illuminated reflective heatsink for the VRMs and offer a range of memory and storage options, with four DIMM slots supporting DDR5-7800 MT/s (OC) memory, and a mix of PCIe 5.0 and 4.0 M.2 SSD slots, as well as six SATA III hard drive interfaces.
The iGame Z790D5 Vulcan V20 motherboards are fitted with dual RJ45 network ports and offer support for WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. The rear I/O panel provides extensive connectivity options including:
