The Amazfit Balance 2 smartwatch has exciting news for its users: a new blood pressure monitoring feature is being rolled out in certain regions. This addition comes with the latest update, enhancing the watch’s capabilities alongside a newly introduced Ultramarathon workout mode. However, the blood pressure feature is only available in selected countries.
Previously available on older models like the original Balance and T-Rex 3, this tool is now accessible to some Balance 2 users through a recent update. This feature has been launched in countries including Singapore, India, and Brazil, but is yet to make its debut in Europe or North America.
The blood pressure app allows users to conveniently measure both systolic and diastolic readings. To ensure accurate readings, users are guided to keep the wristband snug and their arm flat on a table during the 30-second measurement process. It’s important to note that while this app offers valuable insights, it’s not intended for clinical decisions or treatments.
The latest software update, version 3.16.0.3, began rolling out in mid-July 2025. Alongside the blood pressure feature, it brings enhancements such as a new Ultramarathon running mode, improvements to the digital crown, and reduced lag in the Control Center. Despite these advancements, Zepp Health, the company behind Amazfit, has yet to announce plans for expanding the blood pressure monitoring feature to North America or Europe.
